VIC AND JOY
We went to a concert on Saturday night of the Boys Brigade Stedfast Brass Band.
They do it once a year, and every year they have guest musicians. We always wait with baited breath for this guest couple - who sing! They sing along with specially programmed cd's and they are simply magnificent. Vic is the 'heavy' and Joy is so sweet and gentle - she wears the pink twin set and pearls every year ~ and has her hair done for the occasion.
Every year, Vic reminds us of their names "Victor" and "Joy" and how they relate in a christian capacity! He usually preaches a wee sermon and then they sing!
This year they sang "You raise me Up" and ... hmmm, another hymn song, which I've forgotten! Joy's voice is particularly beautiful and pure - often bringing a tear to the eye!

(Mike always gets tickets every year from a man who does business with him. You feel you go back to the 1950's when you attend. Quite the interesting experience!!)
