Just a wee note to say that most of the day we have experienced aftershocks, sometimes 2 minutes apart.... but we think they have been thinning out.
The wind is rising and as we speak, (10pm) is warm outside (Nor wester) and very windy. It is predicted that they will go to 120ks per hour. Batten down the hatches!
Our Gospel meeting was cancelled tonight as any public buildings have to be inspected before people go into them.
Schools are closed till Wednesday.
Polytech and Uni closed for a week.
Driving around is so sad.
Might try for some more pics tomorrow.
Today was Fathers Day... Fiona and Steve and kids all came to lunch and afternoon. Lots of earthquake talk!!

Thanks for the info on Christchurch and the pictures.. Glad you are OK and everyone else, too, for the most part. Quite a mess, and it will forever change your city. :(
