Dad popped in on his bike!
Our last day on the trolley in the hospital...
we had Christmas fun!
(Back in mid January to keep the trolley rolling)
Setting off on the run...
Off we go, laden...
With Jan, our boss:)
We had some competition this year!
These cheerful fairies were twinkling around the wards giving out wishes and candy!
I asked them where they were from (meaning, what is their position through the hospital) and they just answered
"From the Fairy Kingdom"!
Kevin found his old friend who had passed away some time ago. He wanted a Christmas photo.
Back home, Ivy phoned ~
the result, she popped around for a cuppa~tea.
We did it in ladies style on the back lawn..
A dear friend, Janice, gave me this cup/saucer/plate which is from her mothers wedding gifts! Coalport.
Janice gave it to me after the earthquakes smashed so much of my own china.
And the thing is, that of all the china I have/had, it is the most beautiful.
Thank you again, dear Janice.
(Ivy drank from it yesterday!)
Last but not least and fitting for Christmas time....
the house next door which is an abandoned wreck now, has a flourishing pohutakawa tree.
I went and picked some and it's so beautiful!
This is a beautiful NZ native tree/flower.
